Last March, our entire world came to a stop. Coronavirus affected us all and changed the way that we lived. Many of us are still doing virtual school, and continue to stay in our house and quarantine. With this isolation, our mental health is not always the best so today I'm going to be showing ways that we can keep our mental health in a good state.

Taking a break from the media

Its very easy in our world to get caught up in the media. Our world has been learning more and more about the coronavirus and have been sharing it throughout the media.  Wether it be watching the news or scrolling on social media, it can be very damaging to our mental health if we do it to much. We should try our best to limit the amount of time we spend and do other things that make us happy.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT FAMILY AND FRIENDS THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC.

Many of our friends and family face mental health issues and we usually don't know about these things. Calling a friend or even checking on them to talk about life is a great way to check in on other friends. Random acts of kindness is also an amazing way to show others that they are loved and appreciated.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I FEEL ANXIOUS ABOUT CATCHING THE VIRUS?

Remember to wash your hands and not to touch your face. Staying home will also decrease the likeliness of catching the virus. Avoiding media and not watching the news all the time is a great way to avoid coronavirus and to ultimately not worry about it, is the best option.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IF WE START FEELING OVERWHELMED OR ESPECIALLY STRESSED?

We first need to acknowledge the fact that we are feeling that way emotionally. We then have a have few options after this, we can reach out to other people or handle it ourselves with coping methods,
